The Cutler Majestic Theatre at Emerson College, in Boston, Massachusetts, is a 1903 Beaux Arts style theater, designed by the architect John Galen Howard.

The main entrance to the theater and box office is on Tremont Street between Boylston and Stuart Street. The nearest train access is via the Boylston Green Line T Stop and the Chinatown Orange Line T Stop.

To ensure you are on time for the performance, please arrive early. Specific information about when doors will open for your event will be sent in your pre-show email. Seating after the performance has begun will be at the discretion of management, and may be delayed until a suitable pause in the performance. 

Accessibility

 This venue has an accessible entrance to a shallow lobby that has the potential to get crowded quickly. There is no elevator to the mezzanine and balcony, but there is an elevator down to the basement which is where the bathrooms are located.   Assistive Listening Devices:  Radio Frequency (RF) assistive listening systems are installed in all theatres and headsets may be used at any seat. Headsets with induction neck loops are available for patrons who use hearing aids and cochlear implants with a “T” switch.

 The Celebrity Series of Boston offers sign language interpretation upon request. Requests for sign language interpreters must be received at least four weeks prior to the event by contacting Celebrity Series at 617-482-6661 or boxoffice@celebrityseries.org. All requests are subject to the availability of an interpreter and provided at the discretion of the management.
