Dancer and choreographer Jenny Oliver partners with marimbist Steph Davis for Gray Space / Blue Skies, an afternoon of new choreography and commissioned music. Also on the program are woodwind ensemble works by composer/conductor/bass-baritone Damien Geter, musician and multimedia artist Mason Byne, and Ghana-born American composer Fred Onovwerosuoke.

Kodo returns to the Celebrity Series with Warabe, a soul-stirring program created to celebrate the group’s 40th anniversary. In this performance, Kodo’s drummers, singers, and other traditional instrumentalists look to the group’s classic repertoire and early days, blending simple forms of taiko expression that celebrate their unique sound, resonance, and physicality.
