Harvard Square’s Arrow Street Arts, a non-profit performing arts center with two flexible performance spaces, offers the best of everything to audiences, artists, and presenters. The newly renovated, accessible, and convenient Black Box theater  promises an immersive, up-close audience experience, with fully customizable seating, including bespoke risers that can be tailored to many different performance experiences.

The main entrance is on Arrow Street near the intersection of Mt. Auburn and Arrow Street. The Harvard Square Red Line T Stop is 0.3 miles from the venue.

To ensure you are on time for the performance, please arrive early. Specific information about when doors will open for your event will be sent in your pre-show email. Seating after the performance has begun will be at the discretion of management and may be delayed until a suitable pause in the performance. 

Accessibility

 This is a flexible black box space that has a couple different configurations. The venue is entirely accessible (including for performers!). There are several bathroom stalls that are completely enclosed with a door that are for all genders, and there is a shared sink area.

  Assistive Listening Devices: this venue offers Assistive Listening Devices that amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. These are available from the Audience Services staff in the lobby free of charge at every performance and may be used at any seat. Our system offers earphone amplification as well as a T-Coil loop option for those who use hearing aids with T-Coil.

  The Celebrity Series of Boston offers sign language interpretation upon request. Requests for sign language interpreters must be received at least four weeks prior to the event by contacting Celebrity Series at 617-482-2595 or info@celebrityseries.org. All requests are subject to the availability of an interpreter and provided at the discretion of the management.

Parking

On-street parking is available on Arrow St and on many roads surrounding the venue. The closest designated accessible on-street parking spaces are on Mass Ave just before the intersection with Arrow Street, and on Arrow Street just before the intersection with Bow Street.
