Conditions of Sale

When you purchase a ticket to a Celebrity Series event, the following conditions apply. Please note the following conditions of sale for all Celebrity Series event tickets.

Ticket Orders 

  • Artists, programs, prices and times are subject to change without notice. 
  • One ticket is valid for one admission to the single performance on the ticket. Customers must not duplicate tickets.  
  • All ticket sales are final, and there are no refunds or exchanges, except for subscriber tickets before exchange deadline. Tickets are sold subject to the terms and conditions provided at the time of purchase. 
  • License granted herein may be revoked by refund of established price. 
  • Any tickets suspected of being purchased for the sole purpose of reselling will be canceled at the discretion of Celebrity Series, and the buyer may be denied future ticket purchase privileges at Celebrity Series. 
  • Sale of tickets on Celebrity Series venue premises other than by authorized box office is prohibited. 
  • Celebrity Series is not responsible for tickets sold by unauthorized entities. 

Accessible Seating 

  • Accessible seating is reserved for individuals with disabilities and their companions. Purchase of wheelchair accessible, sign interpreted seating, or seating for any other disability accommodation, and companion seating, when an individual in the party does not have a disability is strictly prohibited. 
  • Celebrity Series reserves the right to investigate suspected fraudulent purchases of wheelchair accessible, sign interpreted seating, or seating for any other disability accommodation, where good cause exists. In the event that the Celebrity Series determines that accessible seating was purchased fraudulently, the organization may relocate or eject the ticketholders, cancel the ticket order, or take other actions as deemed appropriate. 

Attending a Performance 

  • Late seating subject to discretion and procedures of house management, in consultation with artists.  
  • The performance you attend may be recorded for radio broadcast, or photos and/or videos may be taken for social, digital, or traditional media. Any such broadcast or recording may include images of the audience or individuals in the audience. Attendance at the event shall be deemed consent to appear in such photos, videos, and other recordings. 
  • Assistive listening devices are provided as a free service for our audience members, where possible, and no refunds will be made for any malfunctions of these services. 
  • Photography, recording, or reproduction in any form by audience members of the event for which a ticket is issued is prohibited and may result in seizure of equipment or removal of patron from theater, for which no refund shall be issued. 
  • Celebrity Series venue partners may inspect and prohibit personal items in the theaters. 
  • All persons regardless of age must have a ticket for admission. The recommended minimum age for entry is four years. 

Neighborhood Arts Events and other free performances 

  • Celebrity Series offers Neighborhood Arts performances and other free events with first-come, first-served general admission. When you take action to indicate your interest in a Neighborhood Arts performance, by choosing to RSVP or Sign Up for Updates, you are not reserving a seat, or guaranteeing your admission to your chosen event. 
  • Patron Code of Conduct applies to Neighborhood Arts performances and other free events. 
  • Free events may be recorded using video, to be shared on Celebrity Series’ social media and other digital channels. Attendance at the event shall be deemed consent to appear in photos and videos of the event.  

Patron Code of Conduct and Communications Policies 

  • Linked here is our patron code of conduct. When you make a purchase from Celebrity Series you are agreeing to these policies. Additional information can be found here about our communications policies as well, covering in-person, written, and social media communications with Celebrity Series staff, artists, and audience members.  
  • Anyone not complying with the patron code of conduct or the communications policy may be asked to leave Celebrity Series event spaces or workspaces and may have limitations placed on their communications. 

Unauthorized Ticket Resellers and Brokers 

PLEASE NOTE: ANY PERSON NOT LICENSED PURSUANT TO M.G.L. c. 140, § 185A RESELLING ANY TICKET THAT IS PART OF A SUBSCRIPTION TO THE CELEBRITY SERIES, AND ANY PERSON SO LICENSED RESELLING THIS TICKET ON AN AUCTION WEB SITE OR IN VIOLATION OF ANY APPLICABLE LAW, IS SUBJECT TO LOSS OF AND REVOCATION OF TICKET PRIVILEGES. Subscribers whose tickets are resold in violation of these prohibitions are subject to cancellation without notice or refund. The Celebrity Series retains the right to refuse to sell tickets to any person or entity that has been, or currently is, in violation of these prohibitions. The Celebrity Series expressly prohibits the use of tickets for advertising and promotional purposes (including contests and sweepstakes or other trade purposes) without express permission.
