Three of the biggest names in music join forces for what is guaranteed to be a performance of the highest caliber. Pianist Emanuel Ax, violinist Leonidas Kavakos, and cellist Yo-Yo Ma are superstar headliners on their own merits and frequent soloists with the world’s greatest orchestras, but they are also particularly well known for the dynamic musical partnerships they forge with other elite musicians. Unsurprisingly, they’re all favorites among our Celebrity Series audiences, but this is a rare opportunity to see them perform together as a trio, a special event that’s happened only once before on our stages.
