Impeccably tight and always in the pocket, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis returns, after a sold-out performance at Symphony Hall in 2024, to lend their old-school class and effortless polish to covers of jazz standards, 20th-century classics, originals by Marsalis and other band members, and more.
Founded in 1987, Jazz at Lincoln Center shares their quintessentially American art form with the world through classes for all ages, concerts, and advocacy. Seeing jazz—with its focus on freedom, finding common ground, and solving problems together—as a metaphor for democracy, they remind us what’s possible when we work together and listen to each other.
