Malpaso Dance Company

Emerson Paramount Center's Robert J. Orchard Stage

Cuba’s most in-demand contemporary dancers return to Boston with a vibrant program showcasing the company’s commitment to working with international choreographers while also nurturing Cuban artistry.

“Sparklingly present… and remarkably strong” (The New York Times), the dancers of Malpaso Dance Company have worked with such notable international choreographers as Ronald K. Brown, Aszure Barton, Ephrat Asherie, and more. The program will feature Brown’s Why You Follow, created on the company in Cuba in 2013, and Asherie's Floor... y Ando, a recent collaboration.
