Regie Gibson & Atlas Soul Trio

Poet Regie Gibson and world-funk-and-more band Atlas Soul once again join forces in a return to the Series for an afternoon of powerful words and music, featuring covers and originals, as well as Gibson’s resonant, dazzling, and thought-provoking wordplay. 

The October 15 concert marks Celebrity Series’ first appearance at Black Market Nubian, a flexible event space in Nubian Square that serves as a hub for the Roxbury artistic community and provides an incubator for creative projects, public art, cultural advocacy, and pop-up small businesses. We’re excited to partner with Black Market Nubian throughout the season to offer performances by Black artists in a space created to foreground and nurture Black creativity.
