Pianist Seong-Jin Cho returns to Celebrity Series with an all-Ravel program following his sold-out debut in 2023.
A frequent guest of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Cho takes to our largest stage for music, Symphony Hall, with an epic recital that spans the entirety of Ravel’s extant works for solo piano, written before the composer turned his attention to work for ensembles, orchestras, and the stage.
Cho’s affinity for Ravel’s works—encompassing orchestral appearances, a forthcoming recording, and this recital tour—promises a performance full of depth, mastery, and commitment.

“Cho is a master. He displayed an impressive variety of tonal colors and remarkable technique, dispatched with jaw-dropping panache. He had something to say and communicated it well. ”
