Wampanoag Nation Singers & Dancers
Participatory performance!

Multicultural Arts Center

Limited capacity! Signing up for updates does not guarantee admission to the event.

Audience participation requested:
The Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers “prefer to dance with the people instead of for the people,” and ask for your participation in this event. Please come prepared to dance and sing in the ways that you are able.

Don’t miss a Neighborhood Arts performance that will educate and entertain, immersing you in the song and dance of Wampanoag Nation and other vibrant cultures of the Eastern Woodlands.

Singers and dancers will wear traditional dress and perform on water drums and handcrafted rattles to share song and dance reflecting on our relationship with the world around us: how we are all connected to the earth, the sky, the water, the plants, animals, and insects.

This powerful, joyful, family-friendly experience offers a deep opportunity to learn and join the dancers in song and movement. Alongside the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers, honor the natural world and 12,000 years of ongoing Wampanoag culture.

“engaging and educational… good for the whole family.”
